This umbrella is a large type of umbrella, typically 60 inch wide, or more. The purpose of golf umbrellas is to cover the golfer and his golf clubs and gear, and/or cover multiple golfers. For this purpose it is beneficial to carry these wide sized golf umbrellas.
The automatic umbrella is designed to be opened with one hand at the push of a button. Some umbrellas have also a button to activate a closing mechanism.
This is typically an umbrella which can be folded to a very small size and easily be brought in a purse or even a pocket. The umbrella shaft is usually telescopic and the canopy double foldable.
Dome or Bubble Umbrellas:
Easy recognizable by the tall and usually narrow canopy, creating the shape of a dome or "half bubble". You can actually carry a bubble umbrella so the canopy go down over your shoulders and you look through the clear part of the umbrella canopy.

These umbrellas appear to be very well made and are surprisingly light weight. I purchased 4 so I would have spares.

Extremely light - the shaft/handle are polished aluminum. Solid metal tip should hold up well. Definitely doesn't look like a $7 umbrella.
